Farne Islands - Greetings Card
The Farnes are probably England's most important seabird nesting site, with thousands of pairs of puffins, kittiwakes, razorbills, guillemots, shags and cormorants. A thriving tourist trade means visitors to the islands are almost as numerous as the birds in the summer, but strict protection of the nesting sites means that here at least, birds and humans can (temporarily) coexist.
