Caernarfon Castle - Greetings Card by Steve Lewis
Caernarfon Castle was built by Edward I in the 13th century as part of the 'Iron Ring', a circle of eight castles enclosing North Wales. Now a World Heritage Site, the best view of the castle is from the opposite shore of the Afon Seiont, particularly if, as here, the tide is in and you are presented with a wonderful reflection. To balance the floodlighting with the sky, i made my image about an hour after sunset, whilst there was still a hint of light.
