1 Day Workshops with Joe Cornish 2014
Location: The Joe Cornish Gallery, & various locations around the area
Course tutor: Joe Cornish & Mark Banks
Group size: 8 people
Renowned throughout the UK and abroad for his exquisite landscape images, Joe Cornish is a master of his art and an inspiration to many landscape photographers. Joe is an excellent communicator with unsurpassed knowledge of photography. Our workshops are a must for any aspiring landscape photographer wishing to improve their skills and understanding out in the field.
The one day workshops take place at various locations across the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales, providing the opportunity for some of the best landscape photography in the UK. The Dales are one of the UK’s most iconic landscapes, and the moors are famous for their stunning hill ranges and valleys and vast expanses of heather during late summer. Great material to be captured through a lens!
You will be tutored in using your camera equipment to best effect when dealing with the ever-changing conditions in the landscape. The course focuses on improving your technique, your composition, and refining your individual style. Feedback is given individually throughout the day, giving you the opportunity to translate what you learn directly into your images.
The workshop day will commence at the gallery in Northallerton before the group are transported to different photographic locations. Weather permitting these courses run until dusk/sunset before the group return to the gallery.
Joe is assisted on these workshops by fellow landscape photographer Mark Banks.
