Subjective Seascape 01 Sandsend. Atmospheric fine art print taken with a lens-less 5x4 pinhole plate camera, with a single small aperture – effectively a light-proof box with a small hole in one side.
The long exposures this process demands heighten awareness of the constant shifting environment, and push and pull of the tide.
Georgina uses out of date film stock for her Fine Art Photography as this provides another unpredictable visual dimension to her work, as she can never to certain how the film is going to react to the colours of the landscape. The process and materials used produces subjective seascapes that are ethereal, contemplative, minimal and 'Turner-esque' in mood and presence.
