Subjective Seascape 1. Looking out to the North Sea off Sandsend, North Yorkshire. Format- lens-less Large format 5x4 pinhole plate camera.
The long exposures capture the constant shifting environment, push and pull of tide and passage of time. Georgina uses out of date film stock for her Fine Art Photography as this provides another unpredictable visual dimension to her work as she can never to certain how the film is going to react to the colours of the landscape. The end result is a subjective, minimal seascape, enigmatic, contemplative and 'Turner-esque' in mood and feel.
