Subjective Seascape 07. Looking out to the North Sea off Sandsend beach, North Yorkshire, was taken using a 5x4 pinhole plate camera.
The long exposures this process demands heightens awareness of the constant shifting environment, the push and pull of the tide and the passage of time.
Georgina uses out of date film stock for her Fine Art Photography as this provides another unpredictable visual dimension to her work as she can never to certain how the film is going to react to the colours of the scene. The end result is a subjective, minimal seascape, enigmatic, contemplative and 'Turner-esque' in mood and feel.
