Slioch Pine

I liked the way this Scots pine, resisting the wind and rain on top of a little rocky outcrop, is dwarfed by the sheer scale of the mountain in the background.  There was some luck involved in capturing this image and a fair amount of waiting for the sunlight and clouds to suitably illuminate both the tree and the mountain behind.
