Pettico Wick is a small long disused harbour on the north side of St Abbs Head. I had heard about it but never been there until I was lucky enough to have an evening job to do at Berwick in April. This job finished early and gave me enough time to get up to the location. I was well prepared, I hadn’t looked at the light, I hadn’t looked at the tide tables, I just went there. You’ve got to be lucky some of the time.
