This picture was taken at Middle Scar, one of a number of limestone pavements near Ribblehead viaduct in Yorkshire. It was taken in September and I was just about to pack up and leave when the sun showed for about 5 minutes. It was enough. Just a little bit of light on an otherwise dullish scene. By the way, if you wonder about mountains, the hill on the horizon is Pen-y-Ghent. It wasn’t entirely lucky, this was my fourth visit.
