Lichen covered birches and grass, Crinan by Lizzie Shepherd

I can’t resist birch trees at the best of times - but particularly when laden with lichen. This is a small patch of trees, easily walked past, on the outskirts of Crinan. The trees were looking particularly beautiful, set off by the winter grasses and catching the early rays of sunshine.
