Spend the week indulging your photographic passion against the backdrop of some of Scotland's finest mountain scenery on this 5 Day, 6 Night Workshop led by Joe Cornish & Mark Banks.

Glencoe and nearby Rannoch Moor encapsulates the magical beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Unspoilt and unchanged for centuries, the majestic Glen enclosed by jagged mountains, the glistening loch and the raw desolation of Rannoch Moor means this area of the Scottish Highlands has it all in abundance. The likelihood of their being a covering of snow in January just adds to the beauty of the area and makes the impressive peak of Buachaille Etive Mor look even more spectacular.

Joe frequently champions these late winter conditions as despite daylight hours being short, the combination of moody skies and low angled sunlight makes for great landscape photography opportunities. Who knows, you may even catch sight of the majestic red deer who are to be found at lower levels at this time of the year. Wear appropriate clothing and the Highlands in the winter provides a stunning location in which to enjoy your photography.

This is an intensive workshop specifically designed for intermediate and advanced level photographers giving you a chance to improve your photography while gaining an insight into Joe’s working methods and philosophy in a small, friendly and informal group.

Exertion:  MEDIUM

Joe & Mark deliberately try to make the workshops not too strenuous and they very much tailor the workshops to suit the participants. However some of the best locations do involve some short walks over rough terrain and therefore a reasonable level of fitness is recommended if you want to make the most of this workshop.
