NEW WORK TO JOE CORNISH GALLERIES - APRIL 2020
Castle Crag
Although Castle Crag is a relatively diminutive peak, it is recognisible as forming part of the "jaws of Borrowdale", which is one of my favourite areas in the Lake District. This was taken in early November and I find the soft autumnal tones in the image reminiscent of early 19th century landscape paintings. That was coincidental rather than intentional, although I'm sure those paintings may have had some degree of influence on my own photographic style over the years.
