2019 marks the 50th Anniversary of the second oldest National Trail, the Cleveland Way. A route that covers 109 miles of ever changing landscapes as it winds its way through the beautiful North York Moors and along the North Yorkshire Heritage coastline.  So what better time to join Joe Cornish for this One-Day Workshop improving your photography and learning about Joe’s work process within the landscape that has influenced his photography for more than 25 years. This is an intensive workshop ideally suited to intermediate and advanced level photographers.

The group will meet at the National Park Visitor Centre at
Sutton Bank on the western edge of the North York Moors for introductions over a hot drink in the café and a welcome talk from Joe Cornish.

You will then spend the day in the field with Joe where you will be tutored in camera craft. The main focus will be on dealing with Britain’s elusive weather conditions, understanding subtleties of light and composition and how to make the most of your time in the landscape. Technique, camera-craft and post-production are also fundamental to the making of high quality photographs, and Joe will share his philosophy and work flow with you through the course of the day.

The workshop group is kept to a small informal group of just 4 participants to ensure plenty of one-to-one tuition with Joe. It is possible that you may visit multiple locations throughout the day but transport to and from the meeting point will be provided

Due to his busy schedule these will be the only One-Day Workshops that Joe will be hosting for us in 2019.

Exertion:  MEDIUM
Joe deliberately tries to make the workshops not too strenuous and will tailor the workshops to suit the participants. However some of the best locations do involve some walking over rough terrain and therefore a reasonable level of fitness is recommended if you want to make the most of this workshop.
