Advance your basic photography skills to the next level
Mark Banks is a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society, has been assisting Joe with his Residential Workshops for a few years now in addition to leading a number of our photographic workshops in his own right.
“Mark Banks is quite simply one of the best teachers of photography I have ever met. His secret is an apparently endless supply of patience, and an acute analytical approach to developing systematic problem-solving tactics in photography, which he makes effortless and fun to learn, whether in the field or in the editing suite. Mark’s artistry, empathy, kindness and charm mean he is always a joy to work with, or to be taught by.”
This workshop is for a maximum of 4 people.
The aim of this workshop is to provide a chance for budding landscape photographers to advance their basic photography skills to the next level. You will be tutored in your camera’s basic functions and settings, and how to use them to the best advantage for the subject you are photographing. The course will be focused mainly on landscape photography, but many of the basic techniques are transferable to all types of photography. Individual feedback is given throughout the day, providing you wih the opportunity to translate what you learn directly into your images.
