Dark Visions - a photographic and multi-media exhibition by Rob Knight
Dark Visions, a photographic and multi-media exhibition by Rob Knight, opens at Joe Cornish Galleries on Saturday 3 October.
Rob will be at the gallery on Saturday 3 October to talk to visitors about his exhibition. At 2pm Rob will present The Experiential Landscape a talk further exploring our personal creative journeys and how we tell our stories through our photographic creations. Attendance at the talk is free of charge.
The monochrome images that comprise Dark Visions are part of Rob’s five year project exploring how personal interpretations of the environment define creative vision. In order to distill his personal vision, Rob has drawn on his own experiences and passions to shape the way he interprets and portrays the landscape. His working method illuminates the way in which we all inhabit and impact on, but are also shaped by, the awesome power of nature.
Dark Visions also features Rob’s accompanying audio-video which will be continuously projected during the exhibition, and a collaboration with two writers, Steve Devonport and Dan Ladle, who have written original texts inspired by Rob’s images and which appear as a digital component of the exhibition.
Please Note: The Creative Camera photographic workshop with Rob to accompany his exhibition on Saturday 10 October 2015 is now fully booked.
