View from Low Fell
True to its name, Low Fell isn’t a particularly lofty summit, but it does command a lovely view towards Crummock Water and Buttermere. In late November there was already a little snow on the higher fells and it was worth the brisk walk to the top of Low Fell to capture this image. Wainwright’s comments on Low Fell, ‘Wait for a bright clear day, don’t forget the camera’ are as pertinent today as when he wrote them over fifty years ago.
