Embleton Sands, late afternoon - Greetings Card
"The apricot coloured sands of Embleton beach are a superb subject for the landscape photographer. Colossal dunes line in the back of the beach and these heights give fine views of the bay including the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle to the south-east. But I prefer to explore the graphic details of the shore. In this example the retreating tide has left a delightful pattern of sandy ripples, whose perspective draws the eye into the landscape."
