Cliff Ridge panorama - Greetings Card
Isolated from the rest of the North York moors by a saddle, Roseberry Topping stands like a sentinel, the most distinctive landmark between Teesside and the Cleveland Hills further south. Its immediate summit is moorland but the slopes below are a mixture of grazing, arable land and mixed woodland. Non-native larch trees colonise the top of Cliff Ridge in the immediate foreground of this photograph.
