Born in North Yorkshire, Graham trained in commercial and industrial photography at Blackpool college of Art. For many years he worked as a commercial photographer and a photography lecturer in the North East, but now concentrates solely on his own work. His catalogue of work comprises mainly landscapes and some still life. He has gained recognition for his landscapes in and around his native area, with a number of successful exhibitions to date in the North of England, as well as having work in many private collections across the world
Graham's original prints are all hand produced by traditional 'wet' photography methods, however we are offering them here as high resolution Giclee Prints for those who don't wish to spend the amount a hand made darkroom silver gelatin print commands
These Giclee Prints are produced to the highest standard and as such are equivalent in looks to the hand made prints yet are available at a more affordable cost
Graham's style has been described as 'expressionist' - 'painterly' - 'atmospheric'. His style derives from his painstaking work through both development and printing stages, to draw out the depth of feeling the landscape inspires and for which his work has become renowned.
