Subjective Seascape 04, The North Sea, off Sandsend, North Yorkshire. An atmospheric fine art print taken using a lens-less Large format 5x4 pinhole plate camera.
The long exposures this process demands heightens awareness of the constant shifting environment, the push and pull of the tide and the passage of time.
Georgina chooses to use out of date film stock for her Fine Art Photography as this provides another unpredictable visual dimension to her work as she can never to certain how the film is going to react to the colours of the landscape. The end result is a subjective, minimal seascape, enigmatic, contemplative and 'Turner-esque' in mood and feel.
